Of course you can go to other passages of the Bible, but the nice thing about the Bible (and most religious texts) is that they tend not to discuss things like this in a straightforward manner. Instead they say things like "You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination", which is nicely meaningless. You can't "lie with a male as one lies with a female", since being anatomically different, the various sexual acts would necessarily be different. So you can essentially read whatever meaning into the text that suits your purpose best.

and the demonstration of the inconsistency and contradiction of the bible still stands

You are asking a legitimate question. As I stated earlier the "gospel" to turn from your sins in order to be saved isn't good news at all. The problem of the Muslim viewpoint that the good works have to outweigh the bad is that they hope God will judge by their own standards. Same problem goes for the very popular "Christian" viewpoint that you have to somehow turn away from you sins in order to become saved. Sure, a homosexual can quit getting engaged in homosexual activities, a thief can stop stealing etc. and this is also what the bible commands for a believer. However it's an unbelievable self-deception that a mere human can make himself good enough to live forever with an all-holy God. If someone finds hope in this "gospel" then he neither knows himself nor knows God.

This is Gods judgment over all of mankind (in this context I believe especially about those who worshiped the beast but I'd have to look that up). The same God who said that you shouldn't commit homosexuality also said that you shouldn't be greedy. If I'm giving God 90% and holding back 10% then I'm greedy what is idolatry and I'm found as a lawbreaker, guilty of breaking the whole law. If someone understands this and sees that there is indeed no hope then this is where the true gospel comes into play what is again "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." Someone who has come to believe got his sins washed away and Gods judgement is that he is completely clean. Sure in a Christians day to day walk he can get his feet dirty and there are enough examples of believers in the bible who fell into the worst kinds of sins. I'm sure that there will be many who have lived a far "better" life than me but they will hear the judgement that all their good works were like the unclean rags of a menstruating woman for God. However when God will judge me he won't judge me as a a homosexual, a forum troll, a thief or a murderer but as someone who is completely clean. I was declared righteous and it has costed me nothing while it has costed the Son everything.

So to sum things up for your initial question:
You will find believers who get caught up in homosexuality in heaven however you won't find anyone in heaven who gets judged by God as a homosexual.
