I have to admit I always thought clans were useless until Queef and myself created the Poon Squad. It can be fun playing with a group of like minded people and having clan vs. clan games.

I'm with Pooncrew. I didn't used to see the point. But it is fun to create some community within the game.

I also agree with Pooncrew. Side note I just threw up a little. Community is good, rivalry is fun. I dislike clans in games where it's required to not be abused, but if the game/clan structure is set up correctly then the positives outweigh the negatives. Also you should compare to something less fun than nipples, something more like handerpants or vanilla ice's music career.

I disagree with Trololo! But I do agree with Pooncrew: "like minded people".

Why! Because its good way to define a group of idiots without having to know them beforehand. 80% clans and players in them are crap, so its easy to recognize sheep by his Shepard. Saves my time and makes my playing easier. Funny to get letters from clans - do you want to join just after you beat them.

That´s the only requirement. Just beat them, and you already get invited! Or those random rooms who claim starting clan - join if you want! So like minded people - only thing they have in common is a Sheep-mindedness. "Birds of a feather flock together", to bad that most of them are based on poor qualities.

Not to give bad meaning to Clan, Guild and similar, but majority ruins its image!

@ Angry Panda! Yes your post was so important. At least Trololo understands the meaningless of this forum and uses it accordingly as it is meant to be used. Your post is meaningless, but your ambition behind it not.

Forum is good place to see different people from different "like minded people" community based clans. Yet 90% of the share something in common which could be described as universal standard from clan membership. Be active, be stupid, be a sheep! Just belong somewhere for a sake of belonging and you have a meaning!

He mades clans for a reason. Truthfully, without clans, I'd have no interest in Warlight.

Mr. Trololo's logic is flawed. Nipples are NEVER useless. EVER.

Clans are a good way to find a group of people you can invite to games (if you're a diplo/RP player) or a group that you can invite to tournaments and play competitively with (if you're more inclined toward strategy). I've found them to be valuable as a way of finding fellow players in WarLight, although I wish the WarLight interface made it easier to just get people from my own clan in a separate list to invite to games I create.
