Also, the difference is miniscule, but you're using the wrong Soviet flag (1955-1980). The one at this time had a longer scythe.

Hopefully I corrected the issue and now the correct flag is up for the Soviet Union. Please let me know if it isn't. Also Desert Fox, the link you provided was broken, but I added the Romanian military flag I think you were referring to next to the national one. Is that what you meant? I'll get around to changing names a bit later, thanks for letting me know!

I think it should be German-occupied rather than German Occupied for Denmark.

And unless you're talking about the language, the word Czech is only an adjective, so I think the bonus called German Occupied Czech to Protectorate of Moravia or something.

Protectorate of Moravia and bohemia. The Sudetenland was annexed directly to the Reich, but as you say it is slightly different from occupation.

Thanks. Most likely going to just call the entire bonus German Protectorate of Moravia and Bohemia for simplicity sake.

Looking further into the matter, it would appear that Denmark was largely cooperative and thus a protectorate with extensive autonomy. I'll have to change the bonus as well.

Since I'm Hungarian, I could help you out with the list of the Hungarian city names, where you've used German. Since it would be kind of long, I'd send that to you rather PM.

The flag is good Rommel. and with that, you have gived me an idea. While under the Nation's flag ( or civil flag ) you added industrial and school bonuses, you can make a military flag of the contry and put bonuses for the armies ( well, if you have enough space on the map :))

I definitely understand where you are coming from Konakona, but I think you do not realize something.

The industry included isn't the civilian industry, it is military for aeroplane/tank/small-arms production. While the dry-docks are included to represent capability to repair & build military ships. As for the schools, they are solely military focused. Lastly, the resources all contribute to the war effort in some regard.

What you are saying would make sense if I was detailing civilian aspects of the nations I am working with, but as of right now it wouldn't fit! However, I really appreciate the input, thanks.

To give an idea what I am working on right now.

Of course, I suppose I should start up a list.

However, I still have another 200 or so territories to finish Germany and anywhere from 600-1000 for the Soviet Union. A long way away my friend.

Hopefully, I can accomplish this before June, but finals are right around the corner and I doubt my progress can maintain momentum. So a conservation estimate would put the map at around mid-June before it is completed, and even once I've finished mapping the territories I must go back and redo most of the bonuses.

Anecdote about hungarian war declaration on United States

Allegedly the US Foreign Minister had to check in the map where is Hungary and then welcomed the Hungarian Ambassador.
-What is the constitutional form of Hungary?
-Kingdom.
-Who is the King?
-Actually we dont have King.
-And who is the leader?
-Miklós Horthy Rear-Admiral High Excellency
-I understand so you have sea.
-No.
-Have you territorial claims against the United States?
-No.
-Have you territorial claims against someone else?
-Yes against Romania.
-And you will enforce your claims?
-No because Romania is our ally.
-I understand. - said the US Foreign Minister and recieved the hungarian war declaration.

The railroad idea is good if you are playing with local deployement. A railroad station should be apart from the bonus and have 2 territories (a central one and a barier arround it) soo you can easely defend and blockade it in case of a tactical retreat in order to avoid further push. Connect major cities with rails and put a railroad map on the corner of the map soo we can see the connections between stations (making the map without a lot of line connections).

The represented larger are also great, do that for major battles but maybe also for major cities like Moscow, Berlin, Warsaw,... that would put large ammount of fights on urban warfare if we boost defensive kill rate and lower offensive one we can get great position battles.

I would like to be on the map test too as soon as you make one, good luck with the map and at your tests dude!

Finals finished, progress will be resumed.

Urfang - Germany basically didn't even have allies, they just took what they need and refused to communicate. Italians, Hungarians, and Romanians were pretty much seen as fodder by them. It is sad that just because of their proximity they were forced into the conflict.

TeamGuns - Added you to the testing list. Railroads would be really cool, however, this is my first map so doing something so unorthodox may result in a worse overall map. I'd rather play it safe for now, but if I have room on the map I definitely want to add a detailed verisons of where major battles/sieges occured.
