To say that warlight is like risk is like saying that chess is like checkers - true, but understated. Never played warzone though, maybe it's beyond risk as well..

you can make a warlight scenario almost like risk.. just the simultaneous turn system and the combat system won't be precisely the same... and the card rules, depending on which risk rules you play by..

In my not-so-humble opinion, I think Warlight is strictly superior to risk in pretty much all facets of gameplay--having better strategy, better maps, better cards, and simply being more fun to play.

Better AI, too. I always win when I play myself at Risk...
