My request is a rather ambitious one. A large Middle east Centric Map.

I would rather like to see one with multiple over lapping bonuses in order to represent the different land claims or nations that wish to exist or used to exist but don't really such as Kurdistan or Byzantium.

The larger the better in my opinion as there is a lot of land there but it so often gets poor treatment or completely misrepresentative bonuses such as Syria having a larger bonus than Turkey.

You could even have various Empire bonuses for the several Empires that have existed in the area, Babylonian, Persian, Macedonian, Egyptian, Arabian and so on.

It might even work to have bonuses for control of Tribal Areas which tend to overlap the recognized borders.

I feel there is so much potential for a good map of the middle east that has been neglected.

YES. A lot like this in fact, though I feel like it should contain more of the surrounding area such as northern Africa and western Asia and eastern Europe but this is a Very much what I pictured.

I guess i wonder what it might take to get that map or one like it ready and usable for play.

In addition, I have another map planned known as "The Cradle of Civilization", which will focus on the historical significance of the Levant/Fertile Crescent. This will include many of the historical bonuses that you would like to see in a middle eastern map. However, that will happen after I complete "Modern Middle East."

It will take me a couple of months to make these maps, however.

Awesome! I certainly won't complain about waiting, It was just depressing to see so many new maps and so many projects and no talk of a decent Middle East map and was hoping I might spur the conversation.
