Coming up to the 100th year anniversary since the landing of the Anzacs in Gallipoli, it's a day of rememberance for those who served and died in all wars, conflicts and peace keeping operations. And the contribution and suffering of all those who have served. "They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them."

Anzacs, Australian New Zealand Army Corp. In this battle Australia,New Zealand,Canada,France and British forces fought Turkish/ ottomans who where allies to Germany.

It's too bad what they are doing to the battle site today. It was alright when I visited a few years back, not much to see besides the memorial and little history, but now it is pure brainwash.
