That may be true and it's a good way to be neutral. However, FM15 was released in November 2014, the time period where Crimea left Ukraine by de facto happened in February and March 2014. Crimea aren't members of UEFA, UEFA even attempted to ban teams from Crimea playing in Russian competitions. Also, the game doesn't include other disputed places such as Western Sahara (or the SADR).

Well, its not like any other nation is laying claim on western Sahara (except for fucking western Sahara), and its therefore not very comparable. The difference between western Sahara and Crimea is that Crimea is simply a territory while Western Sahara is a partially recognized state.

Yes, because in real life, they are members of UEFA. England and the Faroe Islands are also members of FIFA. Crimea on the other hand is a member of neither, so they can't play international football (soccer), nor can their club sides enter the Champions League or Europa League.
