A single 1v1 is never enough to judge skill. Here's a new forum game!
Challenge me 1v1 multi-day in this thread. First three rounds will be Strategic 1v1, after which further templates will be decided by the person losing the match (if tied in points, back to strategic 1v1).... first person to six wins, wins the fight. I will do matches in order, one at a time, and post statistics once matches are finished.
Current line of players:
Don; partway through match Samurai; Darkpie; Oilspotter DanWL General Ghandi
China proved to be an interesting choice of template. I pulled through in the end, maintaining the slight edge. Don can still come back to win the match, but it will be more challenging now. I only need three more wins to end the match....
Samurai I would be happy to practice some with you. I had you as a notable victory for months and never understood why this guy rated 600 was so notable..... But I guess you took 5th once. I'd like to help you get back to your prime and I think I have enough skill now to do it.
Once Don Q vs FK is finished, I'll play you next! :)
I'm starting to like this kind of match. Playing a single game against someone is nerve-wracking, but with between 6 and 11 games you can always try to redeem yourself. I'm willing to bet that there aren't a huge number of people who can take me down 6-0 these days; maybe one or two of them will show up here, sometime
List updated! It'll be a while for matches to finish, because it takes a while to win 6 multi-day games. And if you lose some, the match can reach up to 11 games total (6 wins, 5 losses). But I'll do my best to not stall any games, and keep the momentum going. :)
