Durarara is pretty good

Knights of Sidonia is good. Although the 3d affect is somewhat different the show is, in my humble opinion, well done.

Death Note is also a good show though im sure most have seen it. Its a captivating show with some deep thinking moments.

Broken Blade is another show I really liked. The art I found very appealing as well as the plot.

Samurai Champloon, epic katana fight scenes with a nice blend of humor mixed in.

Fate, Noragami, and Psycho-Pass are a few others I would feel are note worthy.

I only like miyazaki's works and inuyasha. Nothing else really interests me because if i want visual beauty I'll watch miyazaki, if i want other things I'll watch media more appropriate for such ends. People flip out over Anime all the time, but it's just a less-cartoonish cartoon. Formats where it's all one big storyline just mean you are forced on a linear path every week and you never get those self-contained episodes which end up being a patchwork of a larger picture, something i find much more interesting.

anyway no, although I have watched a couple of miyazaki movies.

It receives very high praise from its fanbase, which includes myself. It is technically a mech anime, but it's really more of a strategy show, with a bit of feels mixed in here and there. I highly recommend watching it, but be warned, there is fanservice and one f*cked up scene in particular, but I digress. Watch it.

Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo are classics with a well deserved reputation.

I'll second Kur on Psycho-Pass as well, it's a fascinating examination of free will in a controlled, NWO-like future. I liked it quite a bit.

Soul Eater you should probably watch, if you haven't already seen it. Also, and I'm surprised nobody mentioned this one already, Angel Beats.
