You want to know why there are so many Benelux and Netherlands maps? It's because they aren't pleased that on most world maps, Netherlands gets 1 territory (or few, at most).

They really aren't valuable anyway.

Why'd you put the Capitals of other large countries but not for the USA?

@Xedrox: because the metropolitan areas surrounding cities like Paris, Moscow, and Rio are massive. The DC metro area just isn't as big, and is dwarfed by the size of Maryland and Northern Virginia.

But it is rich. And last I checked the US is richer than Brazil :P

Please don't divide The Netherlands into city names :S
I would suggest to name the northern part Fryslân instead of Amsterdam, make a new western territory and call it Holland. Name the southern part. Southern Netherlands.
For someone from Limburg it is offensive to call my province something like Zeeland or Rotterdam.

For someone from Groningen it's offensive to be called a Frisian. So you will nearly always have problems with that. I agree that it's better if those territory's were not named after city's though.

I suggest to keep 2 territory's and name then Northern Netherlands and Southern Netherlands, but if every other territory is named after a big city within that region then I would keep those names (Amsterdam, Rotterdam).

Also, will the map be named 'Penguins' when published or will it have an other name?

I think what the Belgian Gentleman has done with Netherlands is pretty good. The two main towns, plus some unimportant islands. 3 territories is more than usual, Wilhelm, you better be thankful.

If Rockall is worth its own territory, then why don't you have the oceans completely covered with lots of small islands and islets? Or how about oil rigs or platforms out at sea? Sealand could get its own territory if Rockall does, at least someone actually lives there.

Also, every Dutch here, stop being ridiculous. The two biggest and most important towns are unarguably Amsterdam and Rotterdam, dividing it into regions would be nice, about North Holland and South Holland then?

Holland isn't that big. Just keep it like that. Frisia,Amsterdam,Rotterdam for continental Netherlands.

To my opinion, I think I shouldn't contact fizzer. If this map will be published then think about the boost in popularity that Warlight gains due the many diplomacy games.

Just saying, if you spend all this time only to be declined, will leave you pretty outraged. These bonuses are different and don't meet normal map requirements. Its better to be safe than sorry.

If that scenario happens then I better start a petition. This map had costed me already loads of work.
