How is selection priority determined in the case of ties? We both made identical picks in exactly 4.307 seconds. So why is it that I ended up with the disadvantaged start? I don't recall seeing anything detailing how tiebreakers are determined and trusting speeds measured on the order of microseconds is rather ridiculous.

I asked that question in https://www.warlight.net/Forum/84028-s-talk-luck-move-order?Offset=60

No-one (but Fizzer) knows for sure, but Latnox response is a good guess.

Well I imagine the command looks something like:
if player_A_Timer<player_B_Timer then player_A have first move
else
player_B have first move

So with this assumption in case of equal timers player B is privileged. But that's Fizzer little secret :P

Now that two people have managed to pick in the exact same time, I am curious if this will lead to an official response from Fizzer through.

Smileyleg's comment from the same post seems more fair (and thus more likely) to me:

I suppose it could be a bit more fair, like if they're tied A wins if milliseconds is even and B wins if odd.

In the other way, one player is specifically favored... in this one it is simply a coin toss.

That or microseconds come into play but the actual information isn't shown due to rounding (I hope this is not the case)

Either way how to do tie-breaks in NLC (coin games) is a problem. Have you tried asking Fizzer? I wold think managing to make picks in the same time warrants you a response :)
