I can say with quite a bit of confidence that most of our members get a lot more out of our clan than they would be getting out of any other clan.

Unlike most clans on Warlight, ours is far more than an Icon.

What members get out of the clan is listed on our clan page. We try to broadly cater to all members of the clan regardless of their specific interests, so for 1v1 players we've got 3 ongoing tournaments, an internal 1v1 ladder that rotates across strategic templates (mostly taken from WSOW, andy and Dom's league, Clan League, Clan Challenge League- so it's a lot better than just playing Strategic 1v1 all the time). Similarly, team players partake in our 2v2/3v3 ladders and have 3 or 4 ongoing tournaments as well as a few friendly matches against other clans to participate in. Players interested in historical/fictional scenarios have their own dojo. As far as diplo goes, we've got clan games going on all the time- currently the biggest one is a 36 player friendly with The Lost Wolves.

Beyond that, every member of the clan is encouraged to pursue their specific interests by forming or joining a dojo. The dojo system is different from other clans' internal organization systems in that each dojo has a different common purpose- right now the two dojos are for strategic games and historical/fictional scenarios but this is the first month of dojos so we'll almost certainly diversify there as more members start taking advantage of the clan.

I don't know many other clans that are this active (the other ones I've been in haven't been) outside yours, Apex, Illuminati, and the other dominant strategic clans (only a fraction of WL clans in total, ofc).

Join Lost Wolves for the same thing, Falcons for even better organised same thing.

On top of the Icon, we offer, off the top of my head:

* 65 active players that are generally willing to test templates, play games, join tournaments, etc.

* Semi-internal (mostly CORP but we're open to non-CORP players) 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3 ladders

* Frequent clan games/tournaments

* Active clanwide communication that allows us to organize things like a common blacklist to avoid getting our games ruined

* The opportunity to get together with other people and set up a dojo to pursue your own specific interests

61* active players. This is just something that the Wolves and Falcons have, too.

I don't think Angry Panda responded to this airing of dirty laundry in the best possible way, but (given the context of your behaviour) I've got to agree with him. Regardless of whichever topic comes up- countries, games, templates, whatever- you always seem to respond with some level of hate and then ignore all responses with just further insults. I don't think your behaviour here differs from that pattern.

What's even worse is that you're just completely mischaracterizing CORP deliberately- you even went as far as to ignore the most thorough response you've received.

The biggest issue I have, Juq, is how authoritative you seem to act. You never recognize that you can be wrong or that there are valid judgments aside from yours.

Maybe if you actually spent time doing something other than insulting people all day, you'd actually know how to play 1v1. :P (and I mean, on the most basic level- obviously, we'd both probably lose to Apollo, but it's something else to not get a bonus by the end of Turn 3 entirely).

I do recognise that I am wrong sometimes, but when I'm wrong, I usually say "I think..." or "I'm not sure, but I think...". Whenever I don't put those behind what I say, I know 95% right (though I still sometimes can be wrong). It's not that I refuse to accept other folk as right - it's that I'm rarely wrong.

I do know how to play 1ag1, but not with your daemonic templates. I even say before we start playing on your template: "I'm pretty sure I'm going to lose on this daemonic template".

Haha we aren't a Japanese roleplay clan or an anime fan club. We just use Japanese feudal titles for internal management and Japanese-related images for our clan images. Our preferred templates aren't even on Japan maps. So being Japanese-themed isn't an advertisement of any sort.

As for why the dojo system is different: I was part of the political party system in TLW, as a member of Utvikling for around 2-3 months. As far as I could tell, each party was just a group of people doing essentially the same thing- playing standard diplo games. There's far more differentiation in the dojo system- each dojo literally has a different aim in mind, it's more akin to a specialization than a simple clan subgroup. Dojos aren't even political units in the sense that a daimyo has a voice in some sort of council- the Gunjikomon Council is entirely detached from the dojo system, and vice versa.

Within 3 days of existence, Scorpio Dojo has done more than Utvikling did in three months, so I think we're onto something here. It also allows for a more hands-off management style, which is pretty solid.



Since your main issue seems to be the flag: the Rising Sun Flag was the official flag of the Imperial Japanese Army. It was also adapted into dozens of other flags that represent Japan. To this day, you can find it on Japanese newspapers, drinks, billboards, and other standard items. It has no inherent association with the military.

I was actually looking at Japanese Prefecture flags as replacements but I don't think they cut it. There's a special attribute of our clan logo that you'll see in action soon (w/in a month) which is a very specific reason for which I support it.

Finally, the "demonic templates" we played on were Strategic 1v1 (the one from auto-games) and Guiroma 1v1. The first is the most commonly used 1v1 template, and the second is... Guiroma, also one of the most widely accepted and best-designed strategic templates out there.

Who cares if it based off of Imperial Japan? It isnt your problem. If you dont like them, just blacklist them and go away.

Thomas, I've already mentioned that the Imperial Japanese Army used the Rising Sun flag. You might notice that if you even looked at the first search result.

But it's been used in hundreds of contexts unrelated to Japanese military aggression and is in use today by modern Japan's military forces.

As Kasparov said this is a personal issue to solve directly with the people involved.

Also as someone said every country with a political significance has made atrocities, so if someone likes or wants to use Japanese Imperial Flag may not be related with those events but a true love for a culture. In my case, I wanted to join USSR for 2 reasons, I saw a good level among members and because I'm affiliated to a leftist association.
