Extinction is the obvious long-term result. However, I think that in the short term the things we need to worry about are dehumanization through capitalism, the risk of sentient AI (but holy shit machine learning is so cool), mass surveillance, and climate change.

I would have put that we'd be just the same as we are today. The human race is pretty much no different than it was 500, 1000, 2000, even 6000 years ago. Nations will arise and fall, there'll be wars and times of peace, until the Lord comes back things will continue the same way.
