Just keep in mind that all CORP Strategic League ladders are rotating-template ladders (templates can be found in the 'Templates' sheet in http://tinyurl.com/csldata), and there are a lot of templates (60 total- 29 for 1v1, 17 for 2v2, and 14 for 3v3), all of which are being analyzed quantitatively to weed out (relatively) unstrategic ones that produce skewed results. The templates are all either from Clan League, shared by ChrisCMU as potential Clan League candidates in the CL7 preparation thread, used in a major ladder, widely used in tournaments, used in a major CLOT/league, built-in as default WL templates- basically templates that can clearly be called strategic.

There is also an open private tournament I use as a 1000-player chat lobby for CSL, and feedback is welcome there (or via PM).

Although CSL is officially restricted to players and clans with "CORP connections," so far I've been interpreting that broadly to mean "yeah, this player plays Warlight, and so does most of CORP- close enough of a connection" so CSL is going to be open to everyone for the foreseeable future unless it more than quadruples.

Keep in mind that it's manually run (as I don't have a Membership and end up feeling guilty every time I open the PayPal window to purchase one). The advantage of that is that the ladder, unlike a CLOT, is open to everyone since I'm L57 and can create games on any CSL template I'd like; moreover, people are able to be on as many teams as they'd like. However, games will not be created immediately (usually 1-2 times/day, although this might increase as more members of CORP may help me run CSL and its sister (CORP-only) league, CCL) and the data that's tracked isn't as comprehensive or as beautifully presented as you would find on the CLOT framework. Finally, that also means that your pairing and template decisions are being made by a human- so I have to be very careful to make sure that CSL doesn't even look biased against a player or group.

So, yeah, if you're interested in CSL 1v1, 2v2, or 3v3, just PM me and I'll add you. :)
