I am very worried about the direction of our clan.

Ever think you are the issue? When Ayush left you told him to "vote conservative". You basically harassed the clan by spamming the forums with your garbage.

I have to agree with Benjamin. There's a reason we are mad- your policies. That's why Kellen went off. That's why the Conservatives lost. That's why nobody is with you except some new guys. Don't you think you brought this on yourself?

^ Let's not make things harder for them. We've been through shit situations (remember "4 core reasons not to join CORP"?) so we should at least try to understand what the Falcons are having to deal with.

Colonel, from my perspective, is a symptom and not the problem. You need to have multiple failures to get to the point where someone like him has authority (and, formerly, MR) in a clan.

I'd suggest overhauling, simplifying, and further de-democratizing your clan management system. More than willing to discuss what's worked (and what hasn't) for clans I've been part of.

De-democratizing? I would be fine with that, except there's Colonel.
He is a symptom, but he plays a big role. Other parts are government secrecy, poorly run judicial branch, people leaving left and right and bad reputation. The Falcons are a bomb about to explode.

Part of the "falcon problem" is that they created a democracy while nobody is actually active on the forums. This means that 4%-15% of the population could decide the fate of the clan. While Thomas was SUPPOSED to be king he actually doesn't do much other than take stances that are already popular with 100% of the people.

Colonel was supposed to be Thomas's "right hand man", "enforcer", "bad cop" but he took it way too far. Colonel started acting like he was king because the king was often gone or indecisive. Then when Colonel 'went bad' Thomas had to step in and Falcon politics went crazy. Many laws contradicted each other and the judicial system was inept, slow and sometimes ignored.

The root of the problem is that the Falcons doesn't offer much to its people. There are no incentives to be active, be involved in politics, or be in the clan. It was merely a symbol next to your name (like many clans).

If the Falcons would have thrown out all the bad politicians laws after they agreed they were bad and thrown out people who didn't want to be there in the first place or threatened to leave then the clan might have come back. But it didn't and now it may be too late.

F.Y.I. Don't invite any former Falcons in your clan until you can verify that they will be active, friendly, and or a good player.

Yes. It's not feasible to put up a vote for the entire clan. You need to delegate some powers to make things work properly.

It's the process, not the product, that matters. You need to come up with a system that actually works and implement it. Most clans have one, usually something that matches their membership structure and clan goals. Try to build a system that reflects those things.

Based on what I'm seeing here, TRF is more or less a political simulator that exists within Warlight. Is that accurate?

What are y'all's goals as a clan? Like, why do your members congregate? Trying to figure that out so I can think of how you can build a structure around that.

The difference between this, and "3 Core Reasons not to join CORP (and 4 auxiliary)" is that Falcons are being severely hurt by Colonel, and their over-complicated political system. The thread Juq made only got us one of our best strategic players.

Very true, their current constitution (Like they really don't need one) is still over-complicated. They need clan tournaments, games. They don't even have a chat game to discuss even DIPLOMATIC games.
