Ok, I have lately created the topic concerning the problems with past games section and some players suggested creating UserVoice thread so that this issue could be officially voted.

Dear Fizzer, would you be so kind as to do sth with "Past Games" section? It is totally user unfriendly. Whenever I want to analyze the game that has just ended, I need to spend(waste) hell lot of time in "Past Games" section to find it. Why? Because you have only allowed to sort past games by 1)their name 2) thier "Crated Date". Believe me or not, sometimes I just dont remember the exact name of past game so it is annoying (or impossible) to search it that way. The option to sort games according to thier creation date is even more ridiculous - when I finish the game that took numerous months and great number of turns I usually have no f... idea when exactly it has started. Usually only a slight clue that it was long long ago or recently (so I have to gues then wheather last summer would be on page 45 or mabe 68?). Thus searching for past games is very inefficient. What is more - sometimes I even dont realise that some games (usually those less interesting) have ended because finished games are simply moved to "Past Games" section (or they are rather "hidden" there) without any system communicates.

+ [Edit 05.07.2015] This end date should be aligned according to when particular game has ended for individual player that is serching for it (so if he was booted/eliminated in may 2013 and the game has ended in october 2013, his individual "End Date" for that game should be may 2013)

Maybe the finished games also should be in the active list, until the game report window is checked

+ [Edit 05.07.2015] Some additional filters woudld be also welcome to embrace (as one proposed by knyte to sort past games in accordance to their lenght (number of turns before end))

Voted. This in my opinion is one of the big things that should be sorted asap. It would help with analysis of past matches big time.

Yep, I agree completely that this is an area of Warlight in need of help.
But I don't think keeping this thread on the dashboard will do anything. You already have the support of the community on this issue, now you just need Fizzer (have fun with that).

Sarcastucally "hire someone from the 3rd world for 3$/day as its clearly above absolute poverty line, to keep the thread active and while it is on top of the forum, he should make numerous uservoice accounts and vote for the idea".

This is how democracy works in Warlight community!

This could work:), yet the support of experienced players would be much more influential (at lest here on forums as UserVoice indeed rely on anonimous voting probe to multiaccounting)


p.s. vote that damn UseVoice people, this only demands to give them your mail and name without further validation (no activation/comfirmation mail needed etc)

I'm pretty sure this problem was discussed before many times. It's really amazing to me that nothing was done about that yet.

You already have the support of the community on this issue, now you just need Fizzer (have fun with that).

The best way to get Fizzers attention is through the forum. He does check it and will act if there's a big enough crowd.

A lot of people stopped bothering with it as highly voted things from 4 years ago still haven't been done. Have seen a few people question if he even checks it these days.

Fizzer: Would be nice if you said Yes, no or maybe to these things once in a while.

Most people who aren't devs, don't realise how hard deving is. Adding stuff in isn't easy and takes time, he has to pick and choose all the time, and balance that with day-to-day running. So don't be rude, be thankful he even does anything.
