Description

Hello and welcome to the Islands of Fiji. Fiji is 18,274 km2 or 7,056 sq mi big and has a population over 850 000 people.

This map offers a great use for teamplay.

- V. 1.1 Fixed the broken connections in Lau Islands
- V. 1.2 Added a new superbonus called Ringold Isles and lowered the imbalance of the superbonusses

Another fine map by the King! A nice mix of island hopping and more continental style play.

There is a bit of imbalance, though. Some regions, such as Taveuni, are not part of any superbonus, whereas "mainland" regions (on Viti Levu) have a superbonus and a super-super-bonus.

Imbalance..? Hm.. I do not think so.
Bonusses that are not part of any superbonus have a higher value than bonusses that are part of superbonus.

Main examples:
Yassawa Islands (not part of a superbonus) gives you 5 armies for 6 territories
Central Natewa Bay (part of a superbonus) gives you 4 armies for 6 territories.

In this case, Taveuni is an exception. Taveuni and the northern islands above it should be made part of a superbonus called Ringgold Isles ( This is going to be fixed in Version 1.3)

Also, Version 1.3 will redempt the imbalance of superbonusses.

Last phrase: Viti Levu , the super-superbonus includes 45% of the map's territories, so that means whoever gets it already won the game.

Very nice map. It is big enough to have an exciting battle with 4 players and not to big to last for hours. The only thing that bothered me was that it is not possible to go from Oneata to Moce and vice versa even though there is a clear link between these two islands.

Good map. Keep up the good work!

I really love the island-hopping in this map. The fact that every player must start on the largest, central island of Vetu makes it a harder map than it appears at first glance.
