Great 1st map! I like how you added the tunnel. This map looks neat and is very fun to play! It's colorful, strategic, and high incomes make battles more interesting and tough. The many choke points make cards an asset to the game. This is a 5 star map. Great job!

Pros:
- Overall good design and originality!
- Love the tunnel idea!
- Trenches are great too!
- No over-lapping borders!!!!!

Cons:
- Some center-points are way off. Ex: "Oxen Stables"
- Corner-Border territories, yuck. Ex: Lumber Staging-Lookout Tower
- Bad Bonus square placement. Some territory connections cannot be seen because of this Ex: "Frontlines Right Center", "The Lumberyard", etc.
- Not a fan of black/white bonus colours on maps like this. Ex: "Blackwoods Edge"

3.1/5

Thanks for the feedback! Version 1.1 fixes the center points and bonus square placement. I also fixed a couple of the corner borders but didn't remove them all (my preference).

Fun map! I like the theme, like how it's laid out. Like Red Menace said, some of the bonus boxes confuse connections. It's ok to put them on a 3-way intersection, but not 4-way or more.

My only real small complaint is the smaller river/moat, it doesn't feel like it should be cross-able just anywhere.

A few notes regarding connections:
Lumber staging-Timber storage connect, but sawmill-the stack don't. Looks like it should be an even 4-way corner, so either diagonals should all connect or not. Other 4-way corners connect across diagonals.

The 5-way corner around Southpoint is a bit of a mess. Southpoint connects to everything but doesn't look like it should. Modifying the borders to not all come to the same point will help.

Thanks! Issues should be fixed with version 1.1. (except the moat, I kept that crossable:) )

Very nicely done. Even though it is fairly linear, the large number of twists and turns and dead ends makes for good flow and entertaining gameplay.

I really would like to see an entrance to the citadel along the eastern wall. That is too much of a dead end. Also, another bridge or two across the large river connecting the western edge of the map would be nice. Right now, it's too easy to hold the western portion in a multiplayer (more than 2 player) game.

Other than those minor points, this is a fantastic map!

I've considered adding another entrance to the fort, but haven't yet. I may have to try it out a little more that I have. Thanks for the feedback!

Nice map. I think the Citadel can be a bit underpowered considering how long it takes to get those bonuses (many are in series rather than parallel with bonus structure) but decent number of choke-points allows for a strategic game.
