Awesome map, thank you :)

By the way, Canary islands should be added in the Crown of Castille, and therefore also in the Spanish Habsburg Dominions and in the Spanish Empire.

Holy cow! This map is insanely awesome. The detail is exquisite, the scope is amazing and the sheer complexity is beyond belief. Unlike some of the maps I've seen with colonies in offset locations, these actually work because of the many connections to them.

You can see from this map why it was called the Thirty Years War - it takes about that long to conquer the whole thing. I mean that in a good way. If you love huge maps, this one will not disappoint.

My only real criticism is that there are a few missing connections. Mainly they are just here and there (one in Central Morocco, iirc). But two major broken connections stand out: Lefkosa (Cyprus) to Anamur (Turkey) and Cide (Turkey) to Baliklava (Crimean). These are huge problems because they isolate the Anatolian peninsula and greatly impede movement.

Fantastic new map, very large for many players, and will make for very interesting slot games. Inclusion of colonial possessions, Brazil, Asia, Caribbean and North America make the game alot more interesting especially for diplomacy. The number of factions and the way the bonuses are created seem to be very well done, overall a great looking, and an excellent new large-scale map.

I admire the work you put in this map! A great masterpiece!

The white link from Balikava (Crimea) to Cide (Anatolia) does not work.

I did one big post about the broken connections I could find by playing and searching the comment section... Well, I missed quite a few, and there are two more I could find after a couple more games.

Einbeck-Nienburg (General vicinity of Hannover, northern HRE)
Zsolna-Beszterce (Near Krakow, a little bit to the south of Silesia, in Royal Hungary)

Sprawling, highly detailed map. Yes it's cluttered, but it still plays pretty darn well. I'm not sure about the aesthetics of some of the boxing off to the left. The connection of the sea lanes makes much of the boxing entirely unnecessary and often confusing. The effort is extraordinary and the customization is quite nice. Don't expect a quick game.

This map is almost god-like! But there is still room for making it better. Especially concerning dutch colonies.

It is sad that the Netherlands and Sweden have to be cut off from their north American colonies. I think at least a connection to some Netherlands' colonies should be made. (Sweden was not a major power in the region so I can accept it not having a route to its american colonies.)
Another case of the Netherlands being a bit neglected is the fact that there is no St.Maarten colony (which was found during the 30 years war). That was a region with a heavy dutch presence that was used as a connection link between their north and south american colonies.

Missing links:
1. Wargren is connected to Ain Deheb, but the map shows it is connected with a province right next to Ain Deheb - to Tahert.
2. Setat isn't connected to Safi on the Atlantic coast of Morocco.

All in all it is my favourite Early Modern period map! That is definetly 5 stars!

Amazing gigantic map. Really excellent.

Noticed a couple of bugs. The following territories should connect, but don't:
Safi - Settat
Laoag - Caotang
Fredrikstad - Tonsberg
Gorki - Galichskoye

And these ones do connect, but shouldn't: Lolland - Bornholm

And it looks like Wargren connects to Ain Deheb, not Tahert.

Absolutely awesome, this map may be quite hard to play in short times, and yes, it is only playable with slots and many players, and yes, can be frutrating creating a game on this map and praying for get enoght players, but a single good game in it worth all the troubles.

Bassein starting region is completely overpowered... 220 income after 8 turns is too much...

This is one of my favorite maps. It is especially great for diplos and larger games with 20 people. 5 out of 5 would play again.

Let me start off with this I love larger maps, things can happen in Larger maps that smaller maps don't have room for, that being said I allow for about 1 1/2 connections errors per thousand territories but this map had triple what I'd allow. so for these the line went between two but no connection and the connection was not shown by a line: Bornholm, Naestved

Great map. Little unbalanced: When you start in India you have a big advantage. That's not so nice, because India should be one of the weaker parts in the map. Little ortographical mistake: Veumark should be Neumark

Huge and time consuming. Some of the regional bonuses are a little imbalanced but very playable nonetheless. High marks for the tremendous effort it took to create this map.

4/5 Only because moving troops from one arena to another is too slow. Very clever use of the inset maps. The research for this map must have been phenomenal! Thank you for a great map :)

Great map! I'm glad it is finally out. Could this be your 3rd MotW? Just a note, this should have some distributions. You could just use the empires and other large bonuses already in this map (e.g. [imperial/allied]-aligned states).

note to [ESP] Pablo García: You are right there. Apart from being harassed by the British around the 1650s, it has been under Spanish authority, since about 1494. http://www.lonelyplanet.com/canary-islands/history
