True, the island chain lends itself to a linear-style map. However, I think you could eliminate this problem by including about 4-10 ocean territories that link up to many of the islands.

the points are lopsided a quick battle in the middle then just a matter of roll it up while taking the territories behind your lines. Good map maybe change the territory points a little

Pretty decent enough map. The playability of it is pretty restrictive, but I had an OK 1vs1. It's not wholly the mapmaker's fault that it's so linear, but the mapmaker could have put some unrealistic connections, such as connecting the top and bottom island. The territories are well enough name, and it has a good aesthetic to it.

Fun map for small and quick FFA games. It is very tricky to get the upper hand but once you've got it you're winning.
