Don't understand how 2 armies can lose to 1 when the battle stats clearly say the defending army died. No luck modifier. Problem is repeatable every second turn.

The note from the author is ( BS ) this AI has to much control and can make commands on the spot. I have played many levels this one seems unfair. On the other hand I wouldn’t want an easy one so close to the Gold, I will kick butt, just you wait and see

It took me probably about 40+ games but I eventually was able to beat it. It takes some luck. Once you get him to about 14-17 armies be a bit more conservative with your attacks on him. A hard game that takes skill but it will only take you so far. Things need to break your way. Make sure to have lots of movement before attack. Good luck.

I rate map right in the middle, high as far as it being challenging but low on strategy. Very hard map - amazingly, not impossible! Took me at least 50 tries before winning. Key for me was to protect middle and just hope enemy doesn't send horde at it - pure luck! If they do, game over. Protect and fight off the attacks and then later attack on my own to finish them off. Hope it helps somebody!

Gold starred this map but the trick is you must have at least 3 units per territory next to an enemy after deployment. You must double up whatever the ending unit number is at the end of the round at minimum. You must use 4 delays per round, sometimes 3 will work depending on territory controlled by zombies. Example, ending round 1 unit left, add min 2 units. That just breaks even. Would need one more to hope for counter attack. Ending number 4, must be 8 after deployment, that just breaks even, must have more to attack. You must always strike last so delays are critical. Keep in mind that the enemy income gets distributed against all territories bordering the zombies. Less territories surrounding = heavier attack.
