57 territories, 69 bonuses, 3 distribution modes

Description

There are three main regions in this map:
-Magna Graecia
-Hellas
-Ionian states.

These regions are divided in subregions, which are made of city-states. These city-states have a bonus as well.

This map can be played 1v1 as well as 2v2.

There are also distribution modes for small diplomacy games (3 player and 9 player)

The concept is good, I find Ancient Greece very interesting personally. But there are areas of improvement:
-Generally quite sloppy: The borders are a bit messy and so are the territories. The bonus key at the bottom is placed carelessly. Some bonuses boxes are different sizes.
-The writing: 'Rest of Italy or Balkans' I think should be removed and left blank. I would have personally added what you called 'Balkans' anyway. Thrace and Macedonia etc. Though if not, id change the colour and perhaps just name it 'Balkans' or the proper name for that time.
-Yellow connection lines should be redone better to smaller thickness. They look very sloppy.

If this is your first map, then good attempt. I hope you follow this advice for future maps.

EDIT: If you need help you can message me or look or use the forum.

Sure. I am currently making a big map of texas (I am thinking to do it for all states of US). I will try next time to make a better map. Also I could make a second version of this map and make improvements.(hope I spelled the word right)

Some of the connections are a bit odd (or the lack of certain intuitive connections) and it's got some questionable balancing, but fun enough for a fast game. The aesthetics could use some cleaning up, but at least it isn't drab.

There are too few connections on this map and therefore far too many chokepoints. Woe betide the player who has to assault Skyros, Kerkyra, Evia or Crete. Why does Ionia connect to land only at Mytillene? Why can't Greece proper access the Aegean except through Evia?

It is also often unclear whether territories connect diagonally (Himera to Akragas) or not (Aikai to Ambrakia).

All in all, this is a great concept, but it needs a lot of work to improve its playability.

Zero stars, matter of fact minus one star. Why give the AI's a total advantage right from the start, they already have an advantage because they know where you put your armies and defend the territories around that. And what's the point of the 1000 armies countries, if you don't want to use that part of the map why draw it? This map needs to be taken out of the loop, sure it can be beat but it's a totally ridiculous map.

There isn't any connection-line between Skyros - Andros but armies still move between them.

Doesn't make fun at all. For me it's impossible to win and you have no chance to skip this level.

This was a fun map to play on, but I have some thoughts. I noticed that there were a lot of territories with 1000 on them to show that they were not part of the game. From an aesthetic standpoint they look really awful. I haven't built a game here, so maybe there is a reason why this is done (I've seen it before), but if possible I would just fill in those sections of the map with art, even a solid color would look better than a map filled with a zillion units. Overall the map, while the layout was strategically sound, lacked in artistic effort, compared to others I've seen. Yes, the game play is important, but some style also adds to the player experience. I say this to encourage the maker to improve, it was a fun, challenging map to play on. Cheers.

It really sucks to get nailed by a connection between islands that isn't marked on the map.

Literally impossible. The enemy have too many units in field and in reserve, they're in a far better position in terms of flanking, resources, and distances, and you have no bonuses - a paltry +6, which is less useful than a spy card on this map.

You can only lose. This MUST be removed from the list or balanced better.

Fun. Was very challenging when I was learning the game. Once I learned how to take advantage of the AI ways was much fun, won in 9 turns. I missed a territory at the end or it would have been 8.
