69 territories, 20 bonuses, 3 distribution modes

This map consists of 4 identical regions that meet only at a single point. There are many such Warlight maps, but each boils down to successfully gaining a single foothold in another's territory while defending one's own. Once that happens, the expanding player is virtually guaranteed to win by the loss of his/her opponent's superbonus.
These types of contests don't do much for me, as they frequently boil down to luck, or at least coincidence.
This might be more entertaining if there were connections between the big planets across bonus regions (e.g., SE to SW, SW to NW, and so on) or perhaps connections between the extreme corners. Those options offer greater variety of gameplay.

I added some connections from one part to the other, it works really well. But I dont think it is a good idea to connect the extreme corners or the big planets. The distribution mode The big planets would not be fair any more because some people are connected to there enemys right from the start. This distribution mode would become a lottery. And if the extreme corners get connected there is no more distribution mode where you arent close to your enemys right from the beginning. Maybe you can look at the new connections and tell what you think about it.

If the game is easy for you and easy for the enemy it will soon get hard for both of you.

It could use a couple more smaller bonuses to get thing moving at the beginning, because by the time someone gets one bonus above the 2 unit ones they've almost won.
