Honestly, this map looks great!

Its so huge and detailed. Perfect for all kind of Europe diplos.

Just 2 things that bug me:
1) You switched between English and non-English names. On bigger cities you used the English terms, while smaller ones got their original names. It would be cool if you sticked to one.
2) Turkey territories are really big compared to the rest. Which results in fewer boni and overall in smaller income for the player who controls Turkey in a diplo. This could be problematic for people, who dont know how to properly balance the boni...

Regardless of those downsides this map is great and my new top for all kinds of Europe-scenarios.

First of all thanks for the review!

1) I mainly used the names showed on Wikipedia, where there are usually only English names for larger cities. Sometimes a province or city doesn't have an English Wikipedia page so I can only use the native name.

2) Turkey was the last country I made. At that point I was already almost at the maximum amout of territories of 3200 so I had to merge a lot of territories to make room for Turkey. To minimize the amount of territories I had to merge I sticked to the provinces of Turkey when determining the territories so that is why there are only 81.

First of all I want to complement the effort and time that was put into this map.

However, I want to draw attention to Crimea. This is internationally accepted as the sovereign territory of Ukraine, so it should fall under the Ukraine bonus.

This may seem unimportant to you, but when you see your country being invaded by an aggressor it is important to you that the world is by your side.

That is why it would mean a lot for me if you included Crimea in the Ukraine bonus.

I know this is a very late response but better late than never.

At the time of making the map I looked purely at which nation was in control of Crimea, which was Russia. But I do understand your point. We should never accept agression like this and with assigning it to Russia I really did not take the neutral side which was my intention. It must be hard for you to see your country attacked like that.

Therefore I changed the map, and gave Crimea back to Ukraine. I am sorry if I offend any Russians with this but it is the common international opinion that Crimea should still be a part of Ukraine.

Thank you for the comments. Most of the connections have been changed. I also changed the bonusvalues of Russia to make it more balanced.

I'm glad I was one of the few that tested on this splendid map. Damn. If it wasn't for the 3200 territory limit [NL] Lucas could have made the biggest map on Warlight! Besides the map is not only yuge in its size out also yuge in the importance of custom scenarios.

Great Map! I like using it for Diplomacy games, as well as FFA games too. I noticed a missing connecting line from Sør-Varanger to Vardø In Norway.
