In apocalypse time, Zombies attack humans.

Human need to conquiert strategic places to survive (water, food, tools, energy, health...), and to develop investigation for increase their power find the antivirus, and finaly reconquiert totaly the city.

Zombies need to conquiert quickly more territories. Somes bonus territories increase their power like as cemetery, civic amenity, marsh...

This board confused the heck out of me at first. It takes a while to get the feel of it, but it is very intriguing to play on when you at last do. This is by far one of the most unique and creative maps I have seen. Wow.

Impressive! This map just suprised me! Its design is like we have to track something and that is just the main goal of the map. It's really well-represented. Its distrubtion mode is also perfect to use.

My only recommendation is to add more conections because the game took really too much turns to finish (more than 60 turns on my game!!!)

Zombies vs Humans... The ideal WL map for an equal 1vs1 game or team game.

I think this is the most amazing map on Warlight. A lot of genius went into this design. (It took me a while to figure out how it worked, though!) Conceptually, this is incredible - the battle of the antivirus research against the mutating zombie virus, the city exploration... brilliant!

However, needs some polish and some better explanation.

1. Missing connections:

* Peuplier Wood to crossroad E14
* Etoile to Coeur
* Boulogne bd to Boulogne gate as well as SW S G5
* Possibly a missing connection from the gas station?

2. It is not clear to me how the distribution modes are supposed to work, even after multiple attempts.

Human Survivor seems to work, but only if you increase the "territory limit" high enough to give the zombies a good spread throughout the city. Even then, the AI doesn't work.

How did you intend this to be played?

Problem: AI won't expand in the helix. Fix by making a the right end of it a bonus (even if it's worth 0).

Nevertheless, genius. Rating this a 5 in hopes it will be fixed!

Thank you for your usefull comment. On your recommandation, I have rectified the missing connections on next version v1.2 (pending public at this time)
Concerning the distribution mode, I tried to propose different gameplay with human vs Zombie but without success. I have modified this mode for a normal mode for 1vs1.
The v1.2 will be available soon.

ps: For 2017,I prepare 3 anothers map in the same thematic, as a continue story.

This is a very peculiar map and difficult to review.

On the plus side:
It is innovative, offers a new form of gameplay, has an interesting city build that is close but manages to not feel clustered. It's pretty and a lot of work was put in. It is certainly worth a playthrough, and i like that it is focused on rushing.

On the negative side:
It really doesn't work all that well. The distribution is imbalanced to the point of hilarity. If you do not have access to the DNA chain, you might as well surrender. The bonuses are laid out in a very confusing way, there are missed connections(Peuplier Wood-crossroad e14, etc) and the green grid overlay can make it difficult to tell which city parts link where. The AI cannot function or understand the map at all. Teams don't work due to DNA issues. Having the DNA chain function is fine, but really, you need readily available income sources for the other folks (beyond the smattering of far flung superbonuses). I want to love it, but it's just not loveable atm.

Love the map would like to see more like it, but I'd make the symbols for food from fields and food from scavenging different, so it would be discern-able quickly. It kills the flow of a game to stop and figure out which is which each time.

this map makes no sense. If you dont have a spawn in the top, you litteraly cant have any income at all

This map, could've been made better, to say the least. I would like to see a remake of it without all the bonuses being negative, for some reason, so the "zombies" can actually get somewhere. Also, the territories in a single bonus generally shouldn't be spread across the map like it is multiple times in this map. In some maps it works, it doesn't in this one.
