Europe by Rivers

Good gameplay. It's interesting to see Western Europe play out as something of a backwater while the main conflict happens in the East.

I deducted a star because the map is very difficult to follow visually. The rivers need to be far more prominently illustrated because right now they compete with the territory borders and make it difficult to see where territories begin and end. I further recommend making the oceans and seas blue to distinguish that space from the rivers, especially when the territory's color is or is very close to black (e.g., Kuban, Dniester, Downstream Dnieper and Southern Bug).

I liked the concept, but the predominance of the rivers make the territorial lines difficult to see.
