A good map. It is fun to use and interesting. It also lets you see the size of countries, I like it. My suggestion is to start somewhere you don't think other people will, because their isn't much other strategic ways to pick territories.

Really great europe map, balanced gameplay between the map's many provinces without it becoming a slog to travel anywhere. Kudos for keeping the state count low enough so that non-premium peasants like us can still play. The cities allow for great city-state-based roleplay and improved commerce gameplay. Overall, I would say that this has to me my favourite europe map yet. If there were another version of this map without explicit borders shown for modern-day nations, I would definitely appreciate it as I often like to roleplay as Venice, for instance--and wouldn't enjoy the minor eyesore of my borders crossing between the green border of italy, and the red border of croatia. Again, though, definitely a great, big europe map good for long solo games and group events.
P.S. Why does Ireland have a bonus, but nowhere else does?

every territory is equal to 1 000000 inhabitants - that's a cool idea.
there are just a few bonuses, composed of cities that are spread over the map,
so you might activate 'give extraarmy for every territory
and maybe put the bonuses down to 0 or 1.

I am not thrilled with this map, too many tiny, weird-shaped territories. However, the game was kind of fun. Without the traditional bonus system, it was a challenge to fight it out and win.

The map was a race to capture the cities which made the game less enjoyable. Trying to determine which bonus cities were connected was difficult due to the distance between them.

Amazing! Lets me use Europe and have countries take a few turns to take without needing to buy the pack in order to get Europe Huge! There is one downside though. You have to click territories one by one in order to create countries, but it's still good.
