Well, the Wikipedia files are just links to Wikimedia Commons afaik. --Grzechooo ^{(drop a line)} 16:58, 13 January 2012 (UTC)

Most of them, but not all - for example English Wikipedia allows certain copyrighted files under "fair use", while Commons does not. Also, it might be simpler to find something on Wikipedia - just find the country's page and keep scrolling, and Commons has a really deep categorisation system.
