Not one person asked why skunk, the "Seer", claimed villager initially!

And why Genghis was barely fighting his lynch!

Nevertheless, it was virtually impossible for the village to win IMO. They had his balls and ATF as bonafide villagers, and GeneralGror as the TM. TT was team village, but could not be sure of it, and Genghis had no way of knowing he was village!


Interestingly, by the time his balls and ATF claimed villagers on Friday, I had all the night actions in, I just got myself into a huge muddle sorting out what happened with the roles! So I asked on another forum for some opinions. I'll copy the conversation here...

i guess we just assumed since he saw that FK was a minion he wanted to see if he could figure out the werewolf from that.

I think most of us didn't fight with Genghis because most of us knew he wasn't a WW and didn't care if he was killed

There were so many minions it's not even funny. The whole town practically became minions over the night.

I was just happy to be off team tanner if I'm honest.

ME -

If the robber robs the doppelganger, are they told they are now a doppelganger, told the role the doppelganger picked, or something else?!

ANSWER -

Robber acts after doppel so they're told what the doppel becomes (as that's what they steal)

ME -

I've got 3 minions in this game then!

Are they both told the identities of the wolves?

ME -

No, wait.

Doppelganger (A) copies Minion (B), A+B now minions.
Minions (A+B) given information RE wolves.
Robber (C) robs A, so A is now robber, C is minion, but not told wolf identity. (Would I inform robber that he's doppelganger-minion, or just minion?!)
Troublemaker (D) switches Tanner (E) and B, so B now E, and E now B.

Effectively, my doppelganger went to minion, is told wolves names, then ends up as robber.
Minion has wolves names, is now tanner.
Robber is minion, but doesn't know the identity of the wolves.
And tanner is minion, again with no info.

Right?!

ANSWER -

Robber told hes Minion, but not who the wolves are.

That village is fucked

Skunk! That was ridiculous. You had no reason to lie and all my deductions were based on the fact that you and coaleyes could be trusted aaaaaaah. SWINE ;)

Problem here was skunk's fickle nature and half of the players contributing so little.
ATF, his balls, FK, Thomas633 (both wolves!!!).

Considering that, it would have been a miracle for the poor villagers to bag a win.
On top of the incredible misfortune effectively creating 3 minions...

@Dom I thought Skunk was just holding back his seer role until more info was gathered. Like Ace did in the first game but a little more discreet.

The real kick in the teeth was FK and Thomas hardly participating.

Haha Seer was in the spares and just happened to be the role I picked...that's funny.

Yeah Gror that's what I thought about skunk too. If I was the seer at the start I'd pick the option to choose 2 spares and then wait until late game to reveal it in order to see if any wolves claimed to be those.

I normally participate just enough to be unreadable

Kinda ruins the game, no? Mafia is all about information gathering. You have to provide information or it limits it terribly

I tried only to participate enough to get someone else lynched.
