I'd also like to give a special shoutout to Genghis.

Voting doesn't matter. Your vote is more like a suggestion to the ruling elite.

I believe that the voting system is rigged. A better system would include multiple presidents, like a council of 4-5 political ideologies for each president. States and districts are easy to gerrymander, also consider that you can win the general election with 22% of the people wanting you in office.

My solution:

Alternative vote, Google it, It is late for me :)

It's an unsolvable problem - to unrig the vote. As long as the American ruling elite are greedy and exploiting, and America is strong enough to do their will, it will never be unrigged. This is a problem in many countries, more the powerful ones than the less.

That answer is an overreaction to a small problem that will highly lower living standard and most likely replace current elite set with new elite set, if not immediately, then in 5-10 years.

Many of my favorite candidates so far are sadly down the list. I'd easily be convinced to vote for someone like Marco Rubio or Ben Carson. Plus, I think it would be smart for the Republicans to field one of these two because stealing away some minority voters is the one thing the GOP needs the most next election.

On the Democrat side, Sanders is 10X better the Clinton. I actually give credit to Sanders for restoring my faith in the Democrat party. I had lost almost all respect for them over the past few years.

Rubio will be the nomination IMO. No way Trump gets that.

I can't believe people are taking polls seriously at his stage when Deez Nuts is polling at 8-10% in some states.

Trump is a double-edged sword. Part of me likes him just for the fact that he says whatever he's thinking and isn't afraid to spit in the face of political correctness. However, he's a bit too blunt at times and I'm almost terrified about how diplomatic relations would be under him.

The Republicans would definitely be better with someone else in front. Although,if they choose someone else Trump will likely run as an independent, thus stealing away mostly Republican votes, and completely destroy any chances the GOP has of winning the election. So unless Trump has a change of heart it's likely to be an easy win for whichever Democrat is chosen.

Not really, all that needs to happen for Trump to win is the oth GOp candindates to drop out, Carson or Rubio to become his VP, and Hillary Clinton to get much more shit about the emails, pushing some more people to vote for Bernie Sanders and splitting the democrats votes.

as for me, i just like carson, trump, and sanders

Knyte: I agree entirely. It's sad that Deez Nuts, of all third party candidates, is getting attention.

Isn't he running in the Republican primary? He's as much of a third-party as Trump or Ron Paul (2012). More like a perennial candidate, except he's not that perennial. Joke candidate? Something like Jimmy "The Rent Is Too Damn High" McMillan (who's also running in the Republican primary).

no, Deez Nuts is Independent.

Also, don't multi-account. It's idiotic, especially since it's the same name.

I honestly don't know why I have this account, but the pun in the name is too good to give up.

I don't understand how he can even file the statement of candidacy when he's not actually old enough to become president (35+). That seems pretty dumb to me.

not really. I mean, you can't say that Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton are that much more intelligent. As a whole, politicians aren't using highly intelligent. There just good speakers, some more than others.

The only real exceptions to that in this election are Ben Carson and Bernie Sanders.
