The fact that some clans are new isn't bad at all. New clans are good, in my opinion.

However, if a clan is going to be new, they have to bring something new to the table. A person has to be able to think "Hey, I want to join Royal Empire because [X]!" or "EIC is really cool. You should join them because they have [Y] that Tom Dick and Harry's clans don't have!"

True, in my opinion new clans are always a good thing

I would agree with you, but you put Darklords on your top list. THey're only at the top because they spam invite, and they shouldn't be up there.

I was using size as one of the ways of measuring power so of course the DARLORDS are on that list. Does it mean I like them? no. Does it mean I think they are a good clan? no. does it mean they are the most powerful clan when it comes to size? yes

please define "powerful"? lol what power does Darklordio exert exactly?

Power in WL goes mostly into activity, numbers, and friendly members. CORP is powerful in both numbers and friendly members. Wolves are for there activity, and DRAKLORDS purely because they are big

yes but my question is what does the power translate to exactly? in the real world for example a judge would have the power to pass a sentence, a teacher has the power to discipline you, a company has the power to merge with another company, etc etc.

so if as you say CORP, TLW, and Darklords apparently have a bunch of power. what does that translate to? what exactly can those clans do to me with their almighty power? what control do they have over warlight? the answer to those questions is none my friend.

What changed? The level of stability has always been the same. I admit though the large majority of those who joined right at its creation were people I'd played with and met during my time here.

Changing things doesn't imply stability.

I've never heard of a {W.U} hijacking, and they have a sole manager.

There are many "most stable" clans on Warlight, as there are many clans who have never been hijacked :P
