I edited each option to display a number (#1, #2 etc) to facilitate discussion. Since Snappy Vote automatically randomizes the list of options each time, it will be normal for the #s to be out of order as the #s are merely a marker to help make communication and discussion easier in these threads.

I was experimenting with this and voting zero stars is a no vote, it has no impact on the score. I have 3 votes of one star and when I changed them all to zero stars and the scores all went up. Voting 1 star reduces the score for a given option.

Hmm.. I just verified this and you're right. I guess for now you should vote for every option (or at least, consider 0 stars as "I don't know about this one.")

I'm going to try and get this changed for future polls, as making you click for every item seems overkill.

I see you guys decided to take the 'what would you do' thread posts to their natural conclusion of actually having people play out a game and voting on what should be done. Good idea.

I think as someone basically suggested, it would help to have posted somewhere the list of options visually represented with the appropriate # beside them as just having a bunch of listed out options is much harder to 'see'.

So put in each order set, take a picture, save it and then make a page with all the pictures and the # beside them so people can just scroll down a page to see each option visually represented as they would in the game basically and then they can flip to the voting page to put in votes for what they wanted.

Okay, after consulting with the experts, this is how you should interpret the star system:

0 Stars means "I don't care" or "I'm indifferent to this item."
1 Star means "I'm positive we should not do this."
2 Stars means "I don't think we should do this."
3 Stars means "Maybe we should do this."
4 Stars means "I think we should do this."
5 Stars means "I'm positive this is what we should do."

Going off of how I think Imp plays and prior to looking at the votes, this is what I would do.
1) India
2) Central America
3) South America
4) West Russia
5) Scandinavia
6) Indonesia

My laptop is dying so I don't have too much time to justify why, nor does it really matter. Needless to say, I like best the option with India as the first choice. I don't think Indonesia is a very strong pick because of the warlord. So India would negate a pick if he choose it, and if he didn't choose Indo it would be a safe set to hold and expand from, especially if we got West Russia at #5 (although I think it should be # 4 in priority, but oh well).

Back, I choose to vote for three options.

9 was the option I introduced, and here's why:

1)Central America- Obvious, it allows a possible first turn capture, quick enough to most likely repel any second-turn counter if successful, and if not there are other options.
2)India- Very important in this game. The two counters for this region are unlikely to be occupied if he loses India.
3)West Russia- Available to counter Scandinavia if needed, and if not it can provide a good, somewhat isolated bonus, and an access point to India if it is not given.
4)South America- Provides a counter to CA if it is not given to us, and if both are given it's a fairly solid expansion point or recon to Africa and Antarctica.
5)Antarctica- It's a good access point to Africa and the areas north of it, and is only accessible via choke-points.
6)West Africa- Unlikely we'll get this, but if we do we know exactly where he is, and we can likely launch from here to counter him in CA and possibly South America.

Waya i agree with you on first 3 but not last 3. first of all, i dont think hes gonna take scandanvia as early pick, since he knows this is done by voting and its very popular spot. second of all i think our last 3 should be west africa, antarctica, south america

I think any pick that puts antartica after South America is just fail.. like he got the counter pick, so let's choose what he's countering? completely illogical Imho

and Dansonno, for the same reason why most of the main core of players tend to play games that are invite only.. we follow the rules set down for each game, for the challange of playing that game.. we could cheat and win, but then it'd be a dirty win. like Playing the Mothra game as Mothra and then seperating your armies out and pwning.. you could, and you'd win, but you'd be more fail then if you lose legitly
