Lol, funny republicans. He's a christian, he has prayed many times publicly and has said that he was a church man many times,... I guess you'll need to have Jesus Christ telling you his christian for you to believe it.

To be fair, he has said some confusing and ambiguous sentences in the past - and obviously, he can lie. For example: The United States has been enriched by Muslim Americans. Many other Americans have Muslims in their families or have lived in a Muslim-majority country - I know, because I am one of them.

But yeah, loads of it is just Islamphobia and intolerance, this is big part of the folk who defend it at all.

Well, he is a descendant of a muslim family. His father was from kenya. It's probable that his grandfather and some of his cousins are muslims. But that doesn't make him one...

Yeah, but it's not a totally unfounded belief, as you were implifying.

I think it's just stupid to think he's muslim. If he says he's not, then there's no point at doubting he is one lol. And to people who think he's lying because he's president, it's pretty huge to start lying when you're a kid so you can one day become president lol.

^This does not apply to Muslims, because he might just be practicing Taqiya. The Islam is an ideology where you have to hide your faith if that will benefit the Islam.

I am by far not a friend of Islam, but thinking that Muslims do nothing but lie to non-Muslims because their holy book says so is naive beyond imagination.

True, do nothing but lie to non-Muslims wouldn't benefit the Islam at all. They only lie when it benefit the Islam, like saying "Islam is friendly to non-Muslims", "religion of peace", "Muhamed didn't war", "Islam is female friendly",etc..

I guess there are a lot of Muslims that take the Qur'an literally like that. Just wanted to point out that Muslims aren't an army of people who all act the same, just like Christians aren't. A lot of Muslims support Donald Trump, for instance.
