That Gold colour idea deserves some attention. I for one would love an ongoing challenge where the winner holds exclusive rights to a colour. If this is all possible what bragging rights that would be!
As for Blue, there are few that derail me of my colour, Yankee and Papasmurf are two of my known exceptions.
In addition, I proposed on user-voice my colour keeper idea which never gained any traction. Basically it awarded the use of a colour to the better of the players h2h records rather then based off of seniority.

Fizzer: I'm wondering if there's a way to tell who the most senior player is per color choice. More specifically, with Ivory (my color) being selected at a lean 1.8%, I'm curious if I'm the most senior player currently active to have this as my color of choice.

Orange red is the most metallic colour available. Electric purple is second in that list. Here are some suggestions for colour additions.
-Blueish silver (silver base, blue shine)
-Silverish green (green base, silver shine)
-Metallic black (so that adjacent territories of this colour will have visible borders)
-Trophy gold (it is supposed to look like real gold, not some brownish yellow...)
The last two ideas are just more exact definitions of two ideas already existing on this thread.
And now a note about me, so that you don't wonder what part of speech I am. I haven't played any game against human opposition and I never will. I know I 'll be the least entertaining player to watch, so why bother everyone with my entirely defensive style of play? I hate frustrating people for something not more serious than a game, so I prefer to frustrate AI opponents instead ;P

Mr. Perrin, my issue has nothing to do with skills or my own behaviour. It has to do with me playing extremely defensively. Nobody will like my playstyle, everyone will get bored as long as I am in a game. My second issue has to do with the behaviour of others. There are lots of cheaters in any multiplayer game and I truly hate falling on them. And my third issue is that I have a life to care about, so I don't want to worry about boot times and so on. Just now I was invited to a game and declined it without any hesitation. I 'll do the same with any other invitations I receive. And in case my inbox floods with invitations, I 'll just switch the option off and delete them all. Inviting me to games from now on means lack of respect towards my decision, so don't expect to get any respect back. Am I clear?
