Why does the government need assault rifles? Gun control is not gun control it is advocating one person with a gun taking a gun from another.

Keep all the people in the military employed but stop employing at such a rate so it will go down slowly and it won't be a sudden thousands of unemployed and not everyone in the army needs to go around equipped like a tank

By slashing the military's budget, you are removing so many thousands of jobs. Unemployment will go up and social welfare will increase out of pure necessity. OR we can keep the military, increase its size, save lives will securing US interests and create jobs.

Guns should never be made illegal. By removing guns completely you are basically creating a nation in which the citizens are afraid of the government and it is clear that a nation in which the government is feared by the people rather than vice versa is or will be a tyrannical one even with the best intentions.

Raising the tax on billionaires who create millions of jobs is idiotic. We should lower taxes around the board to create extra revenue and encourage entrepreneurship and lower or remove social welfare to supplement the drop in income from it.

Making drugs legal will not only cause addictions to rise as it becomes a norm of society, it would be betraying ourselves as taking illegal substances leads to nothing but a worthless junkie who is a drain on society. Lock them up!

Have you not seen the growth of drug usage? Have you not seen the outcry against police brutality? Have you ignored the incarceration rates grow substantially? The fighting has led to instability and a growth in the very thing it tried to stop: drug usage. The War on Drugs is a catastrophic failure. At the end of the day, size doesn't matter.

If it isn't an assault rifle, chances are I'm fine with it.

While some of these can be explainable, others would be downright odd (a grenade launcher? Seriously?).

You could attach a machine gun to a truck, doesn't mean we should outlaw trucks because of how dangerous a machine gun is.

Unlike with assault rifle, the truck can have the machine guns removed and it is still a truck. Removing the bayonet, grenade launcher or whatever suits you would not make it an assault rifle.
Under my proposed plan, rifles would still be legal, so the "truck" would not be outlawed in the first place.

I am not for stealing all guns.

When government takes away the rights of the people, they (the people) must rise up before it is too late. I personally believe a rebellion/coup d'etat would be good for America right now. We need to clean house and start over. I don't mean you personally, of course, but if you were my leader, and denied me my rights, I would need to do something.
