At this point, our Republic is over. It was a good experiment, and a successful one, but it has taught mankind that the republic, while noble in the beginning, will inevitably corrupt. We need either a rebellion or a man like Trump, with no regard for "sacred institutions" gone wrong. The former is my preference, but it costs lives and money, and people don't want to part with those. The latter is thus the best we can do. Give people liberty, but f*ck republicanism.
