so i've been playing diplomacy games and i've noticed that, only with warlight and only with google chrome, it takes FOREVER for my typing to process what i've typed and i've been kicked from a few games because it takes 1 minutes to type something that should only take 5 seconds. and i've tried switching browsers,(Internet Explorer, don't have firefox)but that's messed up even worse, as in i can't scroll down on it, so that's not a viable option.

Have you thought of I don't know.. Getting a better computer?

Or a better Internet connection whichever seems to be the problem.

You could try getting membership; they have faster warlight speed. Or you save your typing for when you open a new browser of warlight; with me when I open warlight on a new tab (for the first few games as it later gets slower)the chat is fast. A third option is writing your message somewhere perhaps google docs or the search bar above you and then pasting it back to the chat.

this is a school provided net-book. my dad is entirely paranoid about virus' and thinks my old computer going bad was because of a virus, but it was because he left it on all the time, so it filled up with dust and overheated and melted the insides. long story short my dad doesn't like me using his computer and i have his hand me down laptop that can't hold a battery charge and is slower than this thing. i do have windstream, too, so that could be a cause but i doubt it. and it also freezes whenever i right click.
