MotD has always responded quickly to any concerns I had involving the CL. He stepped in for Chris, and imo has done a fine job managing the CL.

@Kynte with your 5 alts and his 5 alts it seems like it wouldn't be too hard to get an important mail to him

@MotD you've been doing an excellent job man, keep it up. Only thought is be more strict about who can keep score, and maybe ask Fizzer for mod rights so you can keep the clan league threads under control.

I believe he went through the effort of blacklisting my alts... I'll check again though. Don't know his other 5 alts.

But I don't actually have much to say. Wasn't even planning on posting on this issue today but new things (mainly this thread) came up. Honestly, I was sure 24 hours ago that this was all over and doesn't need more discussion and that any good solutions would come from places that aren't the forum. Thinking the same now, and if nothing new comes up this time I honestly want to just stay out of it so I don't get more PM's asking me "Why are you always causing drama?"

I have spent a lot of time answering individual questions. Benjamin, GE, Platinum, Styxie, Tackytical, KKND or the numerous group leaders who I've chased down to get line-ups filled will attest to that.

Motd offers great customer service like Vareshnu in south park. Its not the league which is the problem it'd the assholes who play in it for all the wrong reasons..

I think you're making quite a few wrong personal assumptions here just because I happen to be on the opposing side of an issue. Maybe you should ask yourself whether you'd pegged me wrong earlier? That I can both be that guy who gets all this unwarranted praise for having the most basic familiarity with web scraping and the guy who thinks that there's some structural problems we need to address?

Yes, it's just a video game. And while it's not as important to me as my real job, my education, the different types of hot sauce that I have yet to try, or the cheap, delicious food you can get in Pittsburgh past 11 pm (don't judge me; I'm a college student)... that doesn't mean things here don't matter to the point that it's stupid to do anything about them.

Again, like I've said before, I want to leave this conversation where it is and let others take care of the rest. And I gladly will, if you don't make it personal. I mean, I actually know meaningful personal details here about people on the other side of the issue- and even then I haven't made any personal attacks, because that's not what we should be discussing here.

Thanks for the tip! I was hoping for something spicier, though. If it's mild enough that I finish it in 15 minutes and don't need to spend 30 minutes washing it down and regretting my decision... not for me. :(

Are there a bunch of places in NY with some kind of Atomic challenge (i.e., one where they challenge you to eat the spiciest food they have)? i'd be down for that.

On that note, if you're ever in a place with Quaker Steak on a Tuesday, they've got all-you-can-eat wings (some of them do) for like $10-15. Hella worth it. I got to 43 off of just Atomics this Tuesday. Should've tried Triple Atomics, I guess? :P

(As you can tell, when I do something, I do it near obsessively- my spice tolerance is something I take pride in)

I have 2 points.

1. As Deadman already said, he is not the sole leader of Clan League. If you have concerns, contact any (or all) of the council members - MotD, ChrisCMU, Pushover, Phaeril, or Beren. MotD's blacklist is irrelevant. There are four other people you could reach out to in order to get concerns heard.

2. Knyte, there's no need to post that link in every single post. At this point anyone who will read it has. The panel is aware of it and will decide what to do about it.

1. Sadly wasn't aware of that. Might've missed it in the many threads where it was publicized.

2. Just edited it into existing posts since it's more important than the content below the horizontal rule.

bit.ly's chief advantage over tinyurl is mainly that it tracks the number of clicks. I can tell you that it's still gaining new uniques. Actually gained two in the past <5 minutes (checked when I first saw your post and when I finished typing this one).
