Promoting Tribalism is a bad idea.
Religion has led to a lot of major conflicts in the past.
I don't see how most people will actually need a clan devoted to a specific religion. Is the point to play the game? Or meet with people who are PRESUMABLY of said religion? If the latter, why not find an actual, irl group to meet. If you need a clan devoted to a specific religion to play this game much at all, I have to seriously question your judgement, and your world views.
Also, you can't impose your culture on others, you have to make them want to assimilate. You see this with immigrant families a lot - the kids want to fit in with the new culture, the parent's don't want to - fighting ensues, because at least one side wnats the other to conform to their culture standard.
Good day, I will assume I am going to be completely ignored, and not return. :P

@Tabby. Unfortunately, you have ignored the #1 rule of the internet. Don't feed the trolls.
As per the topic in (or out of) discussion, I believe a Christian/abrahamic clan needs to clearly define those who believe in the same God. Does LDS or Jehovah Witness count? Is it the same religion if they rewrote the entire bible?
Self identifying as part of an Abrahamic religion should not be enough to be accepted. All it takes is a few slighty confused Hindis and the purpose of the clan is undermined.
Personally, I would consider somebody who takes their Abrahamic religion seriously to exhibit these traits.
1. personally trusts God (and no other power) for their salvation.
2. believes their religious text is the inspired word of God that rests above all human authority.
3. can point out moments when their faith has been tested.
4. believe that their religion should be shared with everybody in the world.
5. believes God spoke to Abraham and made a covenant with him.
6. believes in only one true God.
