Chatul, was that to me? I didn't defend false accusation, if that's what you're thinking. I condemned using false accusations against false accusers.

Onoma, oops, didn't think of the timezone thing. It was post #60, but Tabby already fixed the issue. It was a minor leak of personal info, but it was a leak nonetheless. I am certain Tabby didn't do it intentionally.

Tabby, when you use the EXACT same tactics as your enemy you become no better than them. Most of Warlight doesn't like Nazis, but a lot of users are siding with them against you because you've made yourself into a nuisance.

Chatul (in regards to false accusations), that is your right and prerogative. I see nothing wrong with that. However, I have a hunch that most instances of such would be difficult for the FBI to pursue, since you are basically anonymous on this site. I could be wrong about that, it's just a hunch. You might want to check out the relevant laws just to see where the limitations are. It's possible it wouldn't be worth your time/effort in most circumstances. But I do agree that clear false accusations of crime are definitely something that is covered under defamation law; in fact it's one of the more serious kinds of defamation, called 'defamation per se': https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Defamation#Defamation_per_se

It really depends on your (and probably more importantly their) legal jurisdiction, so knowing the regional limitations can be very helpful.
