I have created a variant of Wasteland Style for strat games.
Features 1.There are 15 wastelands of size 8 on MME map. That means there are probably only 9-11 picks that are not wastelanded.
2.Hawaii Alaska Japan and Korea are worth -1 armies. You need to think carefully before going to these places.
3.Blockade cards in 19 pieces of size 551%, starting with 38 pieces. That means there are two bonuses you can ruin before turn 20 instead of one.
4.Airlift cards in 20 pieces, starting from 20. You have one opportunity to suddenly move your armies before turn 21.
5.Spy cards in 19 pieces, starting from 13. You usually have one opportunity to see your opponent by turn 7.
6.Diplo cards in 20 pieces, starting from 20, lasting 2 turns. You have one opportunity to ignore your opponent for two turns before turn 21.
7.Reinf, priority, delay cards as usual.
Please discuss this template.
Possible new features:
1.Sanction cards. In 20 pieces, starting from 20 which increases one's income by 100%.
2.Emergency Blockade Cards. EB cards of size 0% can help clean up negative bonuses without making future occupation hard.
3.Making connection negative bonuses worse. What if these connections are worth -5 armies? They will still be useful under certain circumstances but people usually wouldn't use them without a good reason even when their income is high. To keep it strategic I don't want to make it -100 either.
