It's a quality vs. quantity argument really. A deep, geo-political conflict entangled with cultural, sectarian, and ideological roots. I doubt it will ever be resolved in our lifetimes, and I fear it may eventually lead to bloodshed.

The true test will be Pie Day, March 14. Of course, there's a Cake Day every micro-second on the interweb..........
