I wonder if someone who isn't a WL player (a non-warlighter) can purchase membership for (on behalf of) me.

Is this possible?

Sure, I know. But then I'd need to send a Warlighter the money. And given the fact that I don't know any Warlighter who can reach PayPal and who has a Turkish bank account, the transaction would cost me a lot.

The idea I had was this: I could ask a good friend of mine (a non-warlighter) who lives abroad to purchase me the membership, and then money wouldn't be a big issue.

But you're saying this isn't possible. Well, then I have to make my friend a Warlighter as well :D

You can gift Memberships. Both directly and through Email.

Kryz, is just say that you need to be logged in, not that you have to buy it for your account. (The one logged it)

If your friend dosn't play WL, just give him the login to an account or make him create one?

They just need to complete the purchase on PayPal. You could perhaps have them transfer the correct amount of money to your PayPal (but not to your bank account), log into PayPal without connecting it to any account (maybe use a proxy if the basic service itself is blocked in Turkey), and then finish the membership purchase from that account.
