a) There is no WAY you can blame that English on Google translator. How does "kick" become "hick"?
b) I am American. In America, at least, "hurting someone's feelings" is not, and should not, be a reason to censor oneself. Jahman, I'm sorry he is hurting your feelings. Maybe take it out with Ms. Finklebottom, my 1st grade teacher?

Well most of you guys are more experienced here than me so I suppose I have to respect your opinions. In my short time here though, I have to say Perrin comes across as sarcasic, pedantic, childish and questions other players on very trivial meaningless points. He did to me on a thread of mine and does so to another player and comes across like other trolls I have encountered many times.

I could understand Perrin's brutal honesty' as someone put it if it was constructive but I have yet to see anything constructive from this player, only childish pedanticism using insinuate sarcasm to make his thoughts known.

PS: This thread is a perfect example. Perrin takes issue with the way someone using google translator uses the word 'you'.

All you Perrin fans cannot deny that it is pedantic and unconstructive and above all childish. Does Perrin question all dubious syntax and grammatical ineloquence? Is there any need for this on warlight forums? It isn't English school - it is warlight and the discussions should be centred around warlight not Perrin's childishness.

First of all, it was ME having issues with terrible use of Google Translate. I understand English might not be a first language, but I teach Chinese students, and the vast majority of them speak much much better than that. Secondly, who wants some whine with their cheese. Calm down, people.

raver, in this thread, i explained that the way I was using the word was not meant to be derogatory towards him, but to explain in general that those are the reasons that I logically saw for the exception he was asking to be made.

when someone doesn't understand your meaning, and strikes back at you because of that misinterpretation, it is less inciting \*imho*, to explain what you think was the source of the misinterpretation.

In truth, I hope he can get his membership moved, because he does not seem to want to do it for negative reasoning... however.. if Fizzer allows *him* to move his membership, then that would open the doors for a negative aspect to start taking advantage of the system, and doing things that cause a negative effect to the players in the game, and then shortly therafter discarding their damaged reputation.

also.. considering that this entire thread was an attack on me, It was paramount that I defend myself, and I decided to do so in the least confrontational way I knew of.

and in the other post that I 'trolled' you.. you posted something, It seemed scarcely connected to me the way you titled it, considering the subject matter, and I responded as such, you were unclear of how I considered them scarcely connected, I explained as best I could, even making a makeshift example to try to make my point of view more clear, then everyone got into a debate about how exactly your title and subject corresponded, and you raved about my pedantics..

BTW, since I am thinking of it, and still need to figure out my 5 games, would you be inclined to provide a link to a game/template using the rules you had spoken of in the previous thread? Ofc' considering your opinion of me, I would understand if you refuse.

Texas, I used to live in Cali, and some of my co-workers were Mexican born, and spoke better english than most of the american borne people I've known..

i dont think you know what 'troll' means. the word youre looking for is probably 'loudmouth'. and theres nothing wrong with perrin, except for how he uses ellipses in place on full stops.

IMO Perrin some of your posts are uncalled for and isn't what this forum should be about. Obviously others disagree with that but it is obvious to me all the same. You can challenge me to a game anytime you want. I accept any challenge.

hmm.. X, I think I use them so often because I see it like when I'm talking. I use them when the words just kind of draw and dwindle out, as opposed to a pause in continuous speech.

Really guys if have a bad english is a problem, you will stay with only people who speak englsh. I agree my english is not good but i'm french and do what i can. You see now i think that i won't be more on this forum just for it ! I try to invested in the community but say something about my bad english is just small, very small...
