I get the feeling this is going to be an epic failure of a map...

what are you talking about sharpe? its going to exist, and its going to have a lot of territories. what more could you ask for?

Okay i am confused; I uploaded it, and i put in a few numbers, but how exactly do i select what areas can attack/transfer directly onto other area's? Whenever i try it starts in the top left & top right corner, instead of the 2 countries i want to connect.. It's really annoying and it's holding me back.

Please bring me only useful answers, if you do not understand how it works, then please don't respond.

Right, this is the point where he figures out he has to add centre points for each and every single territory (for the comp sci's: linear in the number of territories). Let's wait and see how long it will take him to figure out that after that, he needs to add connections (oohh, gotta love quadratic growth).

For everyone who wouldn't mind too much if this 3200-territories-checker-board (if we can take Nintorii's word for it) is never released, and I sure hope *that includes Matma*, here's a subtle hint: "just shut up and it'll never happen, one 'wrong' link and it just might".
(I'd love to add "PM me if you don't understand that hint" but well, seeing how this forum doesn't have PMs... :( )

Jkiller, if you embarked on a quest to make the biggest map, and you don't even know how to create maps, well, good luck.

Jkiller, I applaud your decision to get into the map-making game. Having seen the work that goes into it, I am in awe of anyone (even skunk!) who has the time, patience, and relative computer skills to make maps. But, for your first attempt, maybe try something small and simple? One of my friends started making maps, and it gets much easier. Save the ambitious projects for once you have gotten a hang of the process.

I agree. I should have started on a small map(50 terrotories)

Once i got this map done i'll make an expanded maze.

I now understand everything, but tomorrow i will find out i missed 2 parts and have to start over once again. But i don't mind =]
