You don't need to join Paypal. Just click the link that says "Pay as PayPal Guest" and it gives you a standard payment form just like any online purchase would.

Not exactly replying to mike, so much as I'm just making a general statement. Trying to get back into the swing of warlight, and looking for a 2v2 partner~

Mike, the guy above has my recommendation. With that profile picture and Hanzou as his ex nickname you can take him with open arms :)

Strange, I had no problem buying a membership with no PayPal, but then again I am relatively naiive and trusting. As far as I know, and like Fizzer explained, it is just like any other online purchase with a credit card. It's easy, and relatively cheap, although I imagine that depends where you live. In the US, $30 is almost nothing, but where I live you can live on that for a week if you try. It's why so few of my crew have joined.

About the conquering wales bit - The Anglo-Saxons never managed to conquer Wales (or Cumbria my birthplace hehe). But the French / Norsemen (William the conquerer) conquered the Anglo-Saxons (originally German / Dutch chaps) in 1066 and his dynasty later conquered the surrounding nations on the islands and incorporated them into what eventually became Great Britain. Wales was indeed annexed after the defeat of the great Owain Glyndŵr the th century the principality was passed to the next in line to the English throne has a hereditary fief hence the crown prince's of England being known as the Prince of Wales until they ascend the British throne at which point the next in line becomes the Prince of Wales (or Princess)

The History Channel isn't boring! They have "Swamp Loggers", and "Deadliset Catch", and about 30 other shows about logging and fishing!
