Map Name: Think inside the box(still thinking of a title ;))

Description:
This map is a 2D flat representation of a 3D cube. There are
150 territories with six sides made of 25 territories each. The edges of each side connect to the corresponding edges of each side. Also there is a center point in the middle of each side. These points connect to the center point on the opposite side(the white territories).

For visualization:
Side 1 is the back (center point connects to the front(5))
Side 2 is the left (center point connects to the right(3))
Side 3 is the right (center point connects to the left(2))
Side 4 is the bottom (center point connects to the top(6))
Side 5 is the front (center point connects to the back(1))
Side 6 is the top (center point connects to the bottom(4))

Unfortunately I can't seem to get lines to connect from those points to the others. Well i can but i have to draw on the map :). I have tested it 5 times against AI(1 first time 2 the second 3 the third and so on). Everything works exactly as it should. This is my first try and it don't look quite as nice as others i've seen. Would like some comments or ideas from folks who have experience with making maps to help out.
Thanks in advance!!

The lines for the top and bottom outside corners of Side 2 and Side 3 are not drawn correctly. The connections seem to be correct though.

Also, it would be really difficult to work together in a team game on this map, since you have named all the territories the same. For example, one person on team A says, "Hey blue, don't attack Side 2, because I'm going to this turn." There is no way for them to know which territory they are talking about.

Could you come up with a system for naming them?

You could call them something as simple as Blue - 1 Blue - 2 etc.

Okay went with a simple ABC format(Side1A,Side1B,Side1C). Also corrected the lines...note to self don't draw connecting lines when extremely tired :).

Thanks Again!

Maybe it would be more clear if you arranged the bonus links for the edges in a [diamond formation](http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/library/policy/army/accp/in0800/fig11.gif)?

The connection between Side2T (red, lower left) to Side6A (pink, upper left) is drawn as a diagonal. For consistency I think it would be better if you routed it down, then right, parallel to the other red-to-pink connections. (The same applies to green-to-pink of course.)

The bonus called "Centre points 1 and 2" actually includes centre points 1 and **5**. Similarly the one called "3 and 4" includes 2 and 3 and "5 and 6" is actually 4 and 6.

I changed the lines for sake the sake of consistency. the diamond pattern got in the way of a few of the lines. This made them a bit more difficult to follow. but the changed lines added a really nice effect! :)

Oh, looking nice. :)

To reply to your first post, better late than never:

Why don't you keep the title. It's funny, recognizable and fits the map, what more do you want?

You should really play one or two games against human opponents to, if at all possible. Now we're just looking at it, really playing on it forces people to pay a lot more attention. If you don't know whom to invite, there's a forum thread called [List of Map Testers](http://warlight.net/Forum/Thread.aspx?ThreadID=2864), guess what it's for. :)

Ok 24 or so distribution sets done. I hope that will be enough...
(4 or so are the same thing as another but look different)

So now to the next stage...human experimentation! Mmuahawaa haaa haa ha!!!!
ooops! I mean testing against real players.;)

I fully expect to have my butt handed to me in these games though.
