Got to this map but can't get it moving at all. When I click on the area where my commander is no arrows appear to issue an order for him to attack any neighbouring areas. Any idea what is wrong.

Does it just happen in this level or in other single-player games too? I have a similar issue when using UJS (activated per default in account settings) in any game, but your problem may be different than mine.

Yeah just on this level so far. I've been able to negotiate the other maps before this one but just can't even get to issue the first order in this map so not able to play at all other than going back to previous maps.

Auto might not help everyone because they don't all have it. I have played "A Different Approach" I didn't have any trouble. So, there is two possibilities. The first one is VERY simple. If you haven't clicked the little arrow in the top left corner next to the "plus" sign. You won't be able to attack/transfer. And you won't get to put troops down, because you don't start with any. The second problem is more advanced. It could be a bug, in which case, you will want to report it. If you have more details. I might be able to help. (Best trick is to reload/turn off/on) I am quite positive it is the first option.
