The first first round game is finished... It seems some of the other games are nowhere near starting, let alone ending...

The games are indeed progressing slowly, having players who always take their turns after almost 3 days gets a tad annoying eventually..

Unfortunately John was booted from my game, shame, would have been an interesting game.

Had a bit of mother's day traveling all weekend... can we set up a rematch? I think there's a lot of us with a lot of personal stuff going on with finals, etc.

Yes, but the games that were decided were by boot. Is this supposed to be a game of attrition or skills?

It takes time to coordinate a 3v3 game. When real life steps in, games get decided by boot.

It doesn't take that long, if you cannot commit to playing once every couple of days then I'm not convinced you should commit to play something like this.

Yeah, it is a shame the games were not faster. Just that people (including me) didn't like a 2day boot (you cannot go away for the weekend then, etc :/ )

Either we have a 'gentleman's agreement' that you always play fast, except when you absolutely cannot, or we have to think of something else in future, eg playing games real-time, on pre-arranged dates, eg 1400GMT saturdays "only sign up if you know you will be free then".

How about a low boot, but banking time. That will revard the players who play fast, and the games won`t be too slow (hopefully).
