Maybe I should've said "the other one"; I didn't mean for him to wait, I meant to suggest not making such an overly huge tournament at all.
The reference to the other tournament was merely to give a rough indication of how long such a tournament takes (and *this one* is most definitely going to include the summer season, when lots of people go on holidays).
i think rvw was trying to say that the last one took 5 months, and if you start one now it will take a lot longer because it will take place during the summer, and people will be on vacation mode.
but the last one didnt have an autoboot, so if you make yours with a 3d autoboot, it should go a little faster.
Open seat pre requirements are a bummer..max of 15 boots which is nothing if you have ~1000 games played. Than it is like 1.5% compared to someone who played 100 games it is 15% and he is allowed to join the tourney
I play in the final of the first 1000 people tournament. It will finish in a month I guess. There are already 5 or 4 people left.
I also joined second 1000 people tournament which was created, because I asked about it on forum and it didnt start yet. Perhaps [WM] signature and the messed up settings are so bad that not many people want to join it.
bluemonkey, on the open seat prerequisites you did:
"number of times the player has been booted" must be at most 15. i think you should remake and do: "percentage of the time that the player gets booted (0 to 100)" must be at most 15. is it what you meant to do?
because most of the players that have been played 1000 games have been booted more than 15 times.
